This year, the World Press Photo 2022 exhibition will take place in Jesuit Cultural center located in Alexandria, Egypt.


The exhibition’s worldwide tour opens opportunity for photographers and photography enthusiasts from across the globe to experience the deep stories behind photographs and enrich their interest in the field.


The World Press Photo will include the stories that add value to photography from the 65th annual World Press Photo Contest.


What is "World Press Photo" is all about?


World Press Photo was founded by a group of Dutch in the year of 1955 whom organized a contest under the name of "World Press Photo". Since then, the contest has expanded worldwide and become one of the most prestigious photography contests, rewarding thousands of photojournalists and photographers every year.


The World Press Photo Foundation is an independent, creative, non-for-profit organization based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The foundation's main value is presenting to people "stories that matter".
